2021 British Open Junior Karting Champion Harvey Riby is set to join the Clio Cup Great Britain grid for Rounds 11 and 12 of the 2024 season, at Brands Hatch this Saturday (26 October).
Despite being only 18-years-old, Riby is no stranger to competitive single-make racing and will be looking to make an impression on his championship debut.
Riby will form part of a two-car LDR Performance Tuning entry for the upcoming meeting, alongside double podium-finisher Ben Jenkins.
Commenting on making the step up to Clio Cup GB, Riby said:
“I am really excited about the opportunity I have been given to race in Clio Cup GB. I am looking forward to trying the car and learning something new”.
LDR Performance Tuning Team Owner Lawrence Davey stated:
“It's a pleasure to have Harvey join us in the Clio Cup GB for Brands Hatch. We have watched his progress over the past couple of seasons in MINI Challenge and that has given him a great chance to be on the pace from the off.”
Excitement for the upcoming Brands Hatch Clio Cup GB season finale is high, with three drivers heading into the round with the chance of becoming Champion.
