Great Oaktree Land Services Director Ainsley Bird will be making his Clio Cup Great Britain debut at Brands Hatch on Saturday 26 October, ahead of an expected full season in 2025.
Bird will form part of a two-car Graves Motorsport entry for the season finale, alongside current championship leader Nicky Taylor.
The #57 driver has recently competed across a number of differing series, before making the jump to Clio Cup GB and getting behind the wheel of a factory-built Renault Clio V II.
Graves Motorsport’s Team Owner Karl Graves commented:
“It brings me enormous pleasure to welcome Ainsley Bird to the Graves Motorsport family. We’re sure he will have a fantastic time competing not just in the upcoming Brands Hatch Clio Cup GB finale, but during the 2025 season too.
“He will be joining a proven, race-winning outfit and we look forward to helping get the best out of him as he develops as a driver.”
When looking ahead to his participation with Clio Cup GB, Ainsley Bird stated:
“I’m so excited to announce that finally I’m getting to live out a dream I’ve always had since being a kid, I’m joining Graves Motorsport to drive in Clio Cup GB for the 2025 season and at Brands Hatch for the last round of 2024.
“I have lots of people to thank for helping me get to this point and they know who they are”.
