Both four-time British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Champion Colin Turkington and multi-race winner Ben Colburn were in attendance at Brands Hatch on Monday 3 March, for the Clio Cup Great Britain Taster Day.
Turkington spent a successful morning as a driver coach for Finsport, helping a prospective driver learn and improve around the iconic Indy circuit. Following his coaching session, Turkington then had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the factory-built Clio Cup race car for the first time.
Westbourne Motorsport’s Colburn is no stranger to the Renault Clio V II, having finished third in the 2024 Clio Cup GB championship standings. On the day, Colburn was on hand to use his knowledge of the car to provide support to prospective drivers for the East-Sussex based team.
