ROWE Motor Oils continues partnership with Clio Cup GB

Clio Cup Great Britain is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with ROWE Motor Oil UK, ensuring the renowned German lubricant manufacturer will continue as the official engine and gearbox lubricant supplier to the championship in 2025.

Following formal approval from Alpine, ROWE’s SUNSPEED SYNT RSi SAE 5W-40 engine oil becomes the championship’s control specification lubricant for the forthcoming season, joining the previously used 75W-140 gearbox lubricant as control items. The move to the newly mandated product, which is a plant-based biosynthetic, 100% fossil free base oil, demonstrates Clio Cup GB’s continued focus on improving sustainability.

2025 also benefits from the continuation of the of the sustainable lubricant agreement that sees ROWE provide the manufacturer-required allocation of engine oil and gearbox oil for the season to Renault Clio V II competitors free of charge, a projected saving for the 2025 campaign of around a thousand pounds.

The Clio Cup GB Championship is promoted by MotorSport Vision Trackdays (MSVT), the team behind a well-subscribed and award-winning portfolio, including the MSVT Trackday Trophy, Trackday Championship, and EnduroKA, and operated by sister organisation MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR).

The wider partnership will also include ROWE Motor Oils becoming the named lubricant partner for other series within the MSVT portfolio, including the EnduroKA endurance series, and the Miata Trophy championship.
